Actor Hideaki Kusaka who had continued to play Sentai Robos for 38 year starting from Dai-Denjin in Denjiman to KyurenOh in Kyuranger had received Japan Action Award 2019 Special Achievement Award for it.
Hideaki Kusaka had said that "It was really difficult during Denjiman for the first three days. My body couldn't stand for three days. If you are inside the Robot, then you can't move, you can't see and it's difficult.... I was planning to quit but they told 'Please do it even for the next one' and I decided to continue". Since the first Robot role was Dai-Denjin, he reveals that it was really difficult. He continued "Dai-Denjin's Tokusatsu Director was that famous Ultraman Director Kazuo Sagawa. I was really surprised. He taught me to pose by saying "This is how you do it". I acted by imitating that". Guidance from the strict Tokusatsu Director made me cry.
For his next work to play Sun Vulcan Robo in Sun Vulcan he had worked hard to act properly.
Other than playing robo, he had played many roles of a villain and even the sixth warrior starting from Ninjaman, Doggie Krugger / Deka Master, Wolzard, Shou Ronpou / Ryu Commander & more.
